Biographical Information for Dr. Charlene A. Robbins
Dr. Robbins is the eminent Pastor of Boyd Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Lake Wylie, SC. She loves the Word of God and the People of God. Her primary passions are preaching and teaching to break down the Word of God for all to understand. Dr. Robbins truly believes that "A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men" Proverbs 18:16. She encourages all people to find their gift(s) and allow God to use them!
Her Family
Dr. Robbins is married to her “best friend” and ministry partner, Deacon Keith Robbins and they have five young-adult children and two sons in law. They have nine grandchildren. They presently reside in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Her Call to Ministry
After submitting to the Call of God, Dr. Robbins was licensed to preach on November 17, 2007, at Friendship Baptist Church, Gastonia, NC and ordained as an Dr. in the Lord’s Church on March 23, 2016. Under the leadership of Bishop John McCullough II.
Her Education
Dr. Robbins received her formal education in Gaston County Schools. She holds an Associates of Arts Degree from Gaston College, Dallas, North Carolina, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Religious Studies from Gardner-Webb University, Boiling Springs, North Carolina, and a Master of Divinity Degree from Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Also, during her studies at Regent University, Dr. Robbins obtained Life, Growth & Leadership Coaching credentials from Life-forming Leadership Coaching of Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2023, Dr. Robbins earned a PhD in Renewal Theology at Regent University
Holyland Experience
In 2019, Dr. Robbins pilgrimage to Israel to experience the Holy Land firsthand. During this time, she experienced baptism in the Jordan River, communion at the place where Jesus was buried and rose, walking the streets of Jerusalem, sailing on, and wading in the Sea of Galilee.
